About the Role

Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Position

components in jigs or fixtures and prepare them for welding. 2. Connect and set up equipment (fuel gas cylinders,

welding wire, etc.). 3. Operate wire welding equipment according to specifications. 4. Perform tack welds and weld along

lines as directed. 5. Inspect welds for proper bead size and quality. 6. Grind, chip, or clean welds to remove excess

slag or splatter. 7. Stage completed products for transport to finishing areas. 8. Operate gantry cranes and other

material handling equipment as needed. 9. Use the computer system to record time and job data. 10. Assist in other
