About the Role

Welder Fitter Pay: $45/hr + $140 daily per diem for travelers. Contract position based out of Groton, CT. You will be

responsible for prefabrication for parts that will later be installed on aircraft carriers and submarines. The position

involves laying out, fitting, aligning, and assembling prefabricated cast and forged components prior to welding,

soldering, brazing, or bonding operations. The role requires performing fitting and machining operations such as

straightening, grinding, burring, drilling, reaming, and countersinking materials to close tolerances. The successful

candidate will select equipment and set up materials following general instructions, and may repair or rework parts to
