About the Role

Lays out, performs fit-up, tacks, and welds parts to produce a weldment or sub- Joins various metals (aluminum, steel,

stainless steel) using a full range of welding processes in different Works from engineering drawings, work

instructions, operation/process sheets, pictures and project ~ Operates manual and semi-automatic welding and plasma

cutting equipment. Skilled in Gas Metal Arc Welding ~(Operates oxy-fuel cutting equipment as well as a plasma torch for

the purpose of cutting. ~ equipment for the purpose of fit up. ~ Uses fixtures to layout, locate and position parts and

features to be welded and reworked. ~ Must be capable of using a band saw to fabricate simple parts as well as, spacers,
