About the Role

The Mechanic B supports the Mechanic A and higher titles in various maintenance functions in the power plant including

electrical, mechanical and welding. Mechanic B (Welding) must have a minimum of two years of welding experience and

qualified in API1104. Willing to further welding skills, as the need for such welding specifications is required by the

department. Interpret welding specifications, standards and procedures and work unsupervised to complete assignments.

Perform welding tasks and various mechanical duties on live steam, gas and electric facilities. Mechanic B (Mechanical)

will work on mechanical equipment in maintaining, repairing and installing power piping systems, associated valves,
