About the Role

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - PUBLIC UTILITIES/WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT DEPT. CITY OF GALLATIN

Purpose of Position To perform skilled, technical work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of wastewater

treatment plant components and equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implements the preventative maintenance

program for the wastewater treatment plant, and ensures the proper maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment. Prepares

and implements routine maintenance schedules for wastewater treatment plant equipment. Performs scheduled maintenance

activities, including adjustments to plant equipment. Troubleshoots wastewater treatment plant equipment, evaluates and
