Utility Maintenance Worker Lines
About the Role
Assists with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of force mains, manholes, gravity sewers, meters, water mains,
water service lines, valves, fire hydrants, and all other sanitary appurtenances while under the direction of Florida
Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)-licensed crew members. Installs, repairs, inspects, and tests backflow
prevention devices; locates water and wastewater lines; restores sidewalks, roads, and landscaping after completion of
repairs. Employee will work in all kinds of weather conditions and is required to work where hazardous conditions exist.
May be required to transport equipment as needed. Work is closely reviewed while in progress and upon completion through
