Utility Maintenance Worker
About the Role
Job Title Performs a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in public works construction, maintenance and repair of
the city's streets, parks, water, and sewer facilities; operates automotive and power equipment. Does related work as
required. Typical Examples Of Work Operates street and sign painting equipment; performs sign maintenance and
replacement. Assists with installation of water and sewer lines, valves, tees, fire hydrant and manholes. Repairs and
connects lines, installs, and inspects water meters and performs general maintenance and construction duties as outlined
by the Foreman or Public Works Director. Turns on and off water for resident and commercial buildings. Operates a
