Utilities Maintenance Worker

About the Role

Performs laborer duties in the installation, maintenance and repair of County utility infrastructure, according to

established policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Performs laborer type duties for the installation, maintenance

and repair of County utility infrastructure, according to prescribed schedules. Installs, cleans and repairs water and

wastewater lines, lift stations, pump stations, treatment and other facilities; performs grounds maintenance work, such

as weeding, grounds cleaning, sweeping, brush and tree removal, fence installations; directs traffic as flag person.

Transports contaminants to solid waste for disposal. Assists the system operators and performs other related duties as
