Urgent Local CDL Truck Driver

About the Role

Driver The driver's responsibility is to safely transport cargo from one branch location to another. Plans travel route

that will best serve the time of delivery to each location. Uses knowledge of local area, GPS and/or mapping

applications to avoid high traffic areas and to ensure the shortest and safest route to delivery. Arrives at a

predetermined location on time for delivery. Drives cargo to destination safely and accurately. Maintains a record of

travel for expenses and tracking purposes. Ensures maintenance is up-to-date and confirms there are no mechanical

issues. Responsible for maintaining a clean vehicle. Responsible for reviewing orders prior to delivery. Obtain delivery
