Truck Production And Welder

About the Role

SCOPE OF POSITION A Truck Body Welder is responsible for high-level assembly, securing and welding metal parts using a

pulse MIG and/or TIG welder, operating overhead hoists or cranes, using hand tools appropriate for the job. They will

read and interpret blueprints of a complex nature to fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications and

with little supervision. The Welder will also apply appropriate welding techniques to produce quality welds.

Responsibilities Follow Blueprints to create quality products. Troubleshoot issues that arise on the shop floor and

confer with supervisors and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving forward for the best
