About the Role

Working knowledge of the Vehicle and Traffic Law as it applies to the safe and legal operation of vehicles operated.

Working knowledge of simple automotive repair and maintenance procedures. Possess and maintain a valid Class A or B New

York State commercial driver license (CDL). Appointees will also be required to obtain and maintain a "P" (passenger)

endorsement and may also be required to obtain and maintain an "S" (school bus) endorsement based on assignment.

Appointment will be contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment testing for controlled substance use as

mandated by the Federal Highway Administration Omnibus Transportation Act of 1991 (OTETA). Employment cannot commence
