About the Role
As our surface welder technician, you will weld components using various methods and welding equipment to support mining
operations. Every day you will work at a mine on a remote island about 18 miles outside of Juneau, Alaska. You’ll start
every job with safety first by inspecting your workplace, and your equipment. To thrive in this role, you must be able
to provide welding and fabrication needs with emphasis on maintenance inspections, adjustments and repairs. We’re on a
remote island, you must know how to work independently.
