Substitute Bus Operator

About the Role

Route Bus Driver/Activity Bus Driver Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, operate a school bus over

designated routes in accordance with time schedules, to safely and courteously transport students to and from school and

activities; conducts classroom and behind-the-wheel driver training and other related duties; perform a variety of

transportation department functions, including general office assistance, by performing the following duties. Conducts

bus driver classroom and behind-the-wheel training sessions and maintains records related to training hours.

Participates in training in areas of bus driving, safety and skills, first aid, and CPR. Assists the Director of
