Substitute Bus Operator

About the Role

School Bus Driver Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or equivalent

combination of education and experience. Possession of current Oregon state driver's license. Must possess valid Oregon

commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger air brake and "S" endorsements and/or other license(s) necessary for

operating a school bus. Successful completion of ten hours of instruction behind the wheel of a school bus required.

Hold and keep a current first aid card when required by the district. Satisfactory completion of a physical exam as

required. Qualifications: Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations governing the operation of a school bus, traffic
