About the Role

Substitute Bus Driver Temporary/Duration of Need Contract 176 Days per year 6-8 Hours per day Non CDL: $13.86 an hour

CDL: $16.24 an hour Job Goal: To provide safe and efficient transportation so that children/students may enjoy the

fullest possible advantage from the District's school program. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Drive a school bus

maintaining a schedule safely. Interact with children, parents, teachers and other employees. Maintain records. Inspect

school bus, notifying proper authority in case of mechanical failure. Maintain student discipline. Keep assigned bus

clean. Report all accidents and complete required reports. Perform simple data recording/record keeping operations
