About the Role
The Welder III is responsible for producing metal components by setting up and operating welding machine, maintaining
quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced
understanding of welding necessary to produce metal componentsMust follow all safety policies and procedures, including
lockout/Tag outAbility to weld three or more different types (Mig, Tig, etc.)Set up components for welding according to
specifications for given processTest and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flawsAbility to adjust
welding machineAbility to select correct welding process, cell, and machineUnderstand and accurately report daily
