Seasonal Water/Wastewater Maintenance Worker The City of Johnston seeks a Seasonal Public Works Maintenance Worker to

perform diverse tasks associated with the repair and maintenance of the city's water and wastewater system, and the

provision of scheduled and emergency services within the Public Works Department. Responsibilities Sand, paint, and

operate public fire hydrants. Operate light and medium duty trucks with trailers, tractors, weed trimmers, and other

hand tools as used in assigned work. Work on or near the roadway and within the city right‐of‐way. Spread and level

earth, sand, and gravel using public works vehicles, hand and power tools; lift, carry, and hold materials, clean tools,
