About the Role

Type 10 Driver The job of "Type 10 Driver" is done for the purpose(s) of improving student achievement by transporting

students safely to and from school; ensuring the Type 10 vehicle is in safe operating condition; managing student

behavior and enforcing rules, regulations and laws to ensure students safety during transport, loading and unloading.

Position Reports to: Director of Transportation. Essential Job Functions: May include, but are not limited to, the

following: Safely driving a Type 10 Personal Vehicle as assigned, on routes to and from school and school-related

activities; and in accordance with District policies and procedures, and State laws. Assessing potential emergency
