About the Role
Butler County Schools Bus Driver Job Description Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Alabama Class
"A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and verification of an acceptable driving record.
Minimum of five (5) years licensed driving experience. Certification as school bus driver by Alabama SDE. Completion of
drug, alcohol, and background screening as required by state and federal statutes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of highway and traffic safety. Ability to operate light and/or heavy-duty buses in a safe and economical way.
Ability to understand and carry out both written and oral directions. Ability to exercise appropriate disciplinary
