About the Role
The Minnesota Department of Transportation, Metro District is hiring multiple Transportation Generalist positions which
May be located at any of the following Metro Truck Station locations: Chaska, Golden Valley, Golden Valley Traffic
Control/Graffiti, and Jordan. The Transportation Generalist maintains and reconstructs roadways; participates in
bituminous road repair culvert cleaning; In addition, this position will perform preventive maintenance on highway
equipment; operate tractor mowers and small rollers; set up traffic controls in high volume traffic and work associated
with accidents, spill cleanup, rut repair, dead deer, etc. Performing landscaping duties on roadside (chipping of tree
