Railcar Mover Field Technician / Mechanic

About the Role

is primarily responsible for providing high quality rebuilds and repairs to respond to customer needs quickly and

efficiently to ensure maximum value for work performed on railcar movers. Perform repair and preventive maintenance on

railcar moving equipment and evaluating for other preventative maintenance items to address with the customer. Test and

verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments Some troubleshooting on equipment may occasionally be required

Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers on their repairs Travel is required for

training and/or to assist at other locations. Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics
