About the Role

PRIMARY FUNCTION (job summary/purpose) : The Welder 1 uses equipment to joint metals. The welder or welding operator

shall visually inspect for weld defects before releasing material to the next station. SPECIFIC DUTIES /

ACCOUNTABILITIES (List in order of importance) Completes set up procedures and operates/ changeover moderately complex

equipment Obtains parts and materials needed to complete tasks. Store and properly identify finished units Maintains an

awareness of all safety issues within the area of responsibility and responds Notify the area team leader of unplanned

downtime or quality issues. Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion;
