About the Role

Maintenance Mechanic Danbury Public Schools is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform skilled maintenance tasks with

a primary emphasis on general maintenance. Responsibilities will include performing basic carpentry, electrical, and

plumbing tasks, and tasks related to maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and construction projects for buildings,

equipment, furniture, and systems; tend to the preventive and general needs for maintenance of the District's

structures, equipment, furnishings, and systems and for various assignments for repair and rehabilitation projects;

repair and/or install windows, doors, partitions, coiling components, floor tiles, cove base, stair treads, wall
