About the Role
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Groundskeeper I provides manual labor functions for the Parks Department and works
collaboratively with all other staff to perform department operations and ensure that they meet the principles and
objectives of the City of Rogers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs maintenance and repair tasks
necessary to provide safe parks facilities for the public. Many of the tasks performed are of a skilled nature such as
lawn mower and weed eater operation, and turf care. 2. Performs routine cleaning of parks spaces including restrooms,
trash/debris removal, brush and tree removal, and trail cleaning. 3. Prepares sports fields and properties for
