About the Role

Painter - OU Medical Center Under general supervision, paints, finishes and decorates items such as wood, metal and

concrete surfaces of buildings and other structures, equipment, machinery, and furnishings. Responsibilities listed in

this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation,

may result in disqualification from the position. Prepares new and old surfaces for finishing by using sandpaper,

burners, scrapers, brushes, sanding machines, dusters, washing compounds and finish removers. Putties, plasters or

otherwise fill and repair cracks and holes. Replaces broken glass in sashes and doors. Removes putty or glazing
