About the Role
FIXED ROUTE DRIVER
Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Fixed Route Driver is responsible for providing safe,
efficient, and on-time delivery of passengers through the operation of a public transportation vehicle. The Transit
Driver will follow a planned bus route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off passengers, collect fares and
answer questions about the bus route. Communicates with the dispatcher during the route; provides updates to the
dispatcher and reports emergencies, traffic patterns, incidents or accidents.
