Mechanical Assemblers 1st + 3rd Shift

About the Role

Plan assembling; assign, instruct and check work of Assemblers of lower classification and helpers. Check and test

sub-assemblies and units. Work from assembly drawings and specifications. Proceed with minimum supervision. Requires a

high degree of skill and assembling technique, plus considerable experience and a knowledge of assembly Essential Duties

and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Assembles parts with the aid of verbal instructions, print(s) or

sample parts. Uses various types of riveting devices, hand tools, air guns and power devices to assemble parts. Checks

parts for quality and accuracy using basic inspection devices such as micrometers, verniers, scales, squares and gages.
