Description Purpose of Position The Small Engine Mechanic diagnoses, adjusts, repairs, or overhauls small engines used

to power lawn mowers, chain saws, and related equipment. Supervision Received The immediate supervisor for this position

is the Superintendent. Supervision Exercised None Requirements valid driver's license Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance knowledge of raw materials,

production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and

distribution of goods knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction
