About the Role
Overview Position: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic – U.Army Equipment Turn-In Site (Contractor) The Ground
Support Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Army ground
support equipment (GSE) and material handling equipment (MHE) at a contractor-managed equipment turn-in site. This role
ensures that GSE assets (e.g., generators, air compressors, hydraulic jacks, power units, forklifts, and specialized
support tools) are serviceable, compliant with U.Army technical manuals (TMs), and properly prepared for storage,
turn-in, or transfer. The GSE Mechanic supports Army readiness and accountability by ensuring equipment is safe,
