About the Role

MECHANIC - ARTESIA - STARTING PAY: $25.58 - $28.23 PER HOUR DOE Employee will become an integral member of the

maintenance crew working under the direction of the Maintenance Shop Foreman. Employee will be responsible for

maintaining and promoting professionalism; and for inspection, maintenance and repair of all equipment utilized by the

Eddy County Road Department, Vector Control, Sign Department, and Environmental Services Department. Must have minimum

two years' experience in the service and maintenance of light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment, both gasoline and

diesel. Must be able to read accurately all gauges on tools and equipment and make correct judgments in the operation of
