About the Role

Material Handler The Material Handler loads and unloads material within a warehouse or production facility. Utilizes

hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from production areas.

The Material Handler has knowledge of commonly used practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on

instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Responsibilities as a Material Handler:

Read work order or follow oral instructions to determine materials to be moved, or loaded, or unloaded on or near the

production cells. Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Attach identifying
