About the Role
Welding Technician Under limited supervision, operates all welding equipment and performs position welding functions
with a high degree of proficiency. Essential job functions include reviewing daily welding production schedules, reading
blueprints to determine required weld locations, operating all position, stick and wire welding equipment, performing
grinding, deburring and polishing duties, reporting problems to the supervisor, inspecting work to ensure consistency
with approved levels of quantity and quality, manufacturing prototype brackets, repairing re-welds to German DIN/AWS
standards, operating bar code scanners/computers, setting up small fixtures, and performing other duties as assigned.
