About the Role

The General Fabricator #1 position is knowledgeable in a variety of tasks associated with fabrication, including but not

limited to: Saws, Drill Press, Apex, Tap arms, Routers, manual and hydraulic bearing presses. Routine maintenance of

equipment. Includes the ability to change punch and die, monitor equipment for proper function including calibration,

and removal of debris. Competent use of hand, bench, and light machine operations to perform tapping, deburring, filing,

grinding and polishing on sawed and machined parts. Utilization of overhead cranes and fork trucks to receive raw bar

stock steel. Performance of material inspection, verification of packing lists and storage of steel inventory. Accuracy
