Maintenance Technician/specialist
About the Role
Maintenance Technician Operates dump trucks, as well as other equipment and tools, and labors in the daily operation of
maintenance crews in the Maintenance Division of Public Works. Essential duties and responsibilities include laboring
and driving dump trucks and snowplows, assisting in repairing water and sewer breaks, performing other maintenance
duties, plowing and sanding city streets during winter months, adjusting, inspecting, cleaning and performing minor
maintenance on vehicular and non-vehicular equipment, cleaning and maintaining tools, performing physically arduous work
outdoors, logging daily work activities and inspection records of city facilities, following prescribed safety measures,
