About the Role

Maintenance Worker - Parks Under supervision, performs a variety of semiskilled and skilled maintenance in County parks,

including landscaped areas, sports facilities and open space; 75 full-time vacancy in the Community Services Department.

75 full-time position works 40 hours per week, 9 months out of the year. These positions are partially benefited, and

incumbents receive vacation, sick leave and holiday pay at a prorated rate. One year of full-time experience performing

basic maintenance work in a park, landscaping, or related environment including irrigation, plant care, chemical

application, and/or grounds maintenance equipment use; Certification as a pesticide applicator must be obtained from the
