Maintenance Groundskeeper

About the Role

Purpose Statement Provides grounds maintenance services at assigned site(s) to ensure attractive and safe grounds areas

and athletic fields, protect against erosion, perform special maintenance operations, and maintain grounds for

assemblies, events, and recreational activities. Essential Functions Assist in the application of pesticides to control

insects and weeds per established procedures. Attend unit meetings, in‑service training, workshops, etc., to gather

information required to perform job functions. Clean landscaped areas and related items (storm drains, fields, litter,

etc.) to prevent flooding and remove hazards. Maintain job‑related groundskeeping equipment for safe operating
