About the Role
Overview Electric Boat - Groton is seeking a Maintenance Technician Electrician to work aboard the floating dry dock
SHIPPINGPORT (ARDM 4) located at the Naval Submarine Base, Groton. In this role you will conduct maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair of two 25 ton portal cranes. The successful candidate will: Have a working knowledge of DC
motors, AC motors, DC drives, AC/DC circuits, resistor banks, diesel generators, engine controls, and CCTV. Have a
knowledge of electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, switches, heaters, power supplies,
contactors, rheostats, resistors, fuses, SCR's, pushbuttons, watertight electrical fittings, strobes, alarms, and
