About the Role

Electrician Apprentice Facilities Management (FM) provides maintenance, grounds, and custodial services to the entire

campus. This position assists a Journeyperson in all aspects of the electrical/control trade, maintains shop machinery,

tools, and equipment, and reads/interprets blueprints. The employee gains experience during apprenticeship and becomes a

Journeyperson upon completion. This is a benefit‑eligible, union position within the BTC. The starting pay rate is

$20.86 per hour and depends on apprentice year. Employees are required to attend staff development trainings and

participate in performance evaluation. Responsibilities include: Assist Journeyperson in all electrical/control trade
