About the Role

The Machinist/Tool and Die Maker/ Aerospace Structural Welder is responsible for support of highly sensitive HQ USAF

operational plans and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign

dignitaries. Essential Responsibilities Advises on metals machining, designing, and production problems. Designs,

manufactures, or modifies special precision tools, gauges, cutting tools, metal dies, or molds used in shaping or

forming metal or nonmetallic material and fixtures to facilitate metal working operations. Performs metals technology

shop calculations such as determining cutting speeds, feeds, and settings. Uses manual and Computer Numerical Controlled
