About the Role

LIRR Technician (Long Island Railroad Account) The LIRR Technician is responsible for providing dedicated waste removal

service exclusively at the Long Island Railroad according to contract specifications. Essential Functions Basic service

truck driving functions in accordance with USS, DOT, and LIRR requirements Operate service cart in accordance with LIRR

requirements Operate motorized pumps to extract waste from holding tanks on train cars Thoroughly clean holding tanks

Offload waste at an off-site transfer station Conduct all work duties in a safe manner in accordance with USS and DOT

safety standards to ensure no accidents or injuries Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Complete annual LIRR
