About the Role
SUMMARY Lead welders on complete manufacturing projects as well as weld metal components together using a variety of arc
welding processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees and leads welders within the complete manufacturing
group Communicates with Weld Supervisor and Weld Manager. Reports information on employee progress and issues for
ongoing performance evaluations. Prepares workload for the welders. Uses GMAW-P, GMAW-S, and GTAW to weld weldments,
tanks, and metal parts together per the weld process specification sheet Reads and understands American and European
blueprints, geometrical call outs, and weld symbols Evaluates all processes within area of responsibility for ways to
