About the Role

Position Summary The Department of Corrections is seeking an Electrician 2 for the Lovelock Correctional Center. The

role involves routine electrical repairs, including low and high voltage replacement of components, switches, outlets,

and fixtures; lighting and control systems repair and diagnostics; cable testing; conduit installation; and other

electrical system diagnostics. Work Schedule Typical schedule Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

(subject to change). Extended hours may be required on short notice in emergencies. Key Responsibilities Respond to

repair orders; establish repair priority; diagnose problems using appropriate tools and test equipment. Estimate job
