About the Role

Position Purpose This position has the responsibility of standing an independent watch at the Central Plant and be able

to operate with no direct supervision. This position is responsible for providing electricity, heating, cooling, hot

water, and soft water to the hospital complex through the operation of boilers, generators, water softeners, water

heaters, and refrigeration equipment: Must understand the emergency power system to ensure the proper operation of the

standby power in the event of a power failure. Must understand graphics on the Building Automation System (BAS) and

correct problems from computer when possible to do so. Must be able to trouble shoot problems on Translogic tube system
