Janitor / Cleaning Porter

About the Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs general cleaning and custodial duties in the common areas of the

building. Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes. Assists in

cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria. Performs limited ground maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns

and hedges and cleaning snow from sidewalks. Ensures that heating and cooling systems are operational. Ensures cleaning

and maintenance supplies are stocked. Vacuum, sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops or powered

machines to strip floors. Washes windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Assists with laundry services. Clean and
