Hospital HVAC Technician

About the Role

Essential Functions Assist the director in planning, estimating and projects. Familiar with tools of trade,

interpretation of diagrams and schematics, codes, and types of materials. Regularly inspects and tests medical air,

vacuum and chillers, life safety equipment, signal/alarm equipment, communication, and plant distribution/operation

systems. Competently isolates defects in HVAC wiring, switches, motors, and HVAC equipment components using test

equipment. Examines and tests elements of systems to locate obvious faults. Competently replaces such defective

mechanical parts as gears, bearings, and related devices according to need. Accurately installs new HVAC equipment
