About the Role

The Milling Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of milling equipment used to remove and

grind pavement surfaces prior to resurfacing projects. This role plays a vital part in preparing roadways and other

surfaces for paving by ensuring accurate depth control, smooth milling, and proper coordination with ground crews and

trucking operations. Perform pre-operation inspections, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on milling

equipment. Coordinate with ground crew, truck drivers, and project supervisors to ensure safe and efficient job site

operations. Monitor work area for hazards and ensure compliance with company safety policies. Load milled material onto
