Highway Maintenance Worker / Snowplow Driver
About the Role
Maintenance Worker The Maintenance Worker serves as an operator of motorized equipment used in the construction, repair,
and maintenance of County roadways. The work of the Maintenance Worker involves the safe and efficient operation of
those classes of equipment, which include, but are not limited to: trucks, dozers, rollers, graders, excavators, and
tri-axle snowplows. The work is performed under the general supervision of a working foreman. CDL training will be
provided to those employees in this position hired without required licensure. After successful completion of training
and licensure, the employee participates in required DOT, FMCSA, and Douglas County testing to become a Maintenance
