About the Role

Bamberg Bridge Maintenance Unit Operates specialized equipment that may include, but are not limited to a boom truck,

snooper truck, hydro platform, truck crane, or crawler crane. Performs skilled bridge maintenance worker functions and

operates heavy equipment to include, but not be limited to backhoes, tractors, forklifts, track hoes and lulls. Performs

skilled manual labor and operates light to heavy duty tools in a variety of activities associated with the construction,

repair and preservation of roads and bridges on the state highway system. These activities occur in and around bodies of

water (in emergency situations, swimming may be necessary). Coordinates the placement of traffic control devices to
