About the Role

Job Responsibilities Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of maintenance activities in the construction,

repair, and preservation of roads and bridges on the state highway system. Operates motorized equipment used in the

construction and maintenance of highways and bridges or the movement of materials and supplies used to perform these

maintenance activities. Operates complex motorized equipment on a county maintenance Special Project/Drainage/Vegetation

Management Crew. Operates heavy equipment such as motor grader and backhoe, tractor with ditcher, crawler dozer,

excavators, and slope mower tractors in conjunction with highway and bridge maintenance operations. Operates other heavy
