About the Role

Job Title The purpose of this classification is to operate heavy equipment and other equipment associated with

construction and maintenance activities for the Water/Sewer Department. Equipment operation includes complex mechanisms

which require skill, dexterity, finesse, and work is performed to exacting tolerances. Performs various construction,

maintenance and repair duties in support of department activities. Reports to Supervisor in area of assignment. The

following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them

from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties
